"Busy, but it was fine"
It was busy when I went, which tested my patience a bit because I don’t love waiting around. Still, everything ended up being fine overall.

"Could Use More Variety"
Decent overall, but the programs feel a bit limited. I’d like to see more variety so it doesn’t get repetitive

"Some of the special events were really…"
Some of the special events were really cute, and the kids still had a good time. But a few of them felt super crowded and kind of all over the place. I feel a little stupid for trusting that it would be run more smoothly, especially after getting the kids excited for it. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I definitely wish it had been more organized.
"I had a couple of questions before..."
I had a couple of questions before our visit, and I’ll admit I kind of assumed it would take a while to hear back. But they got back to me really fast, which was a nice surprise. They were friendly too, and it actually felt like they read what I asked instead of sending some generic copy-paste reply. Made the whole thing a lot easier for us.

"Easy Booking Experience"
Booking was really straightforward and didn’t give me any hassle. Smooth overall, so I’d definitely recommend it if you want something quick and easy
"Fair price and an easy place to let the kids play"
We were feeling mentally drained when we got there, so it was nice that admission felt fair and the kids were able to play for hours. We never felt rushed, which made the whole visit a lot more relaxing

"Still Our Go-To Spot"
I always figured this place was a guaranteed win for keeping my kids entertained, every visit just proves me right. We’ve been a few times now, and they still never seem to get bored. They’re already asking when we can go back again.

"I’m usually a little nervous when it…"
I’m usually a little nervous when it comes to leaving kids in someone else’s care, but the staff were really attentive and kept a close eye on them the whole time. It was reassuring, and I felt like the kids were safe and well looked after.

"I checked pretendcity.org before planning a visit…"
I checked Pretend City before planning a visit, mostly while sitting in my car with a coffee, and overall it did the job. Some of the info was easy to read and I found what I needed, but a few pages felt kind of cluttered on my phone. There were also some buttons and links that were tiny or not super obvious, so I had to tap around a bit more than expected. It’s not a bad site at all, just feels like it could use some cleanup, especially for anyone who needs better accessibility or a smoother mobile experience
"Bathrooms were actually clean"
I was kind of rushing and felt pressured to get in and out quickly, but I was relieved the bathrooms were clean. They smelled fine too, and there wasn’t any mess when we went.

"We got a Pretend City membership…"
We got a Pretend City membership because my kid really likes going, it can save money if you’re there often. Some months it feels totally worth it, but other months I’m kind of wondering if we’re really getting much out of it. The place itself is fun, but it gets crowded quickly, and dealing with the drive and parking makes it feel like more of a hassle than it should be. I don’t regret buying it, but I do wish the membership perks were clearer and more meaningful. They kind of make it sound like you’re getting extra value, but a lot of it feels like vague promises rather than real benefits.

"Fun Visit, Just Needs a Few Fixes"
My kids had a really good time here. Most of the exhibits were clean and working, which was great, but a couple of them looked a little worn out or had pieces missing. The staff did seem to be staying on top of things though, so... Overall, I’d still say it’s worth going, just could use a few little touch-ups here and there.
"Nice indoor spot, but it took some effort"
We went to Pretend City on a warm afternoon it was such a relief to be indoors. The AC felt just right, not freezing, and there were plenty of places to sit while the kids ran around and played. Everything seemed clean and it was easy to get around, which I appreciated, because getting the kids packed up and over there already felt like a whole task. We ended up staying longer than we planned since it was so comfortable, even though I was kind of dreading the effort of rounding everyone up to leave.

"I took my 4-year-old it felt like…"
I took my 4-year-old it felt like the right choice. There was plenty of fun stuff to keep them entertained, but nothing that felt too big, overwhelming, or scary. For that age, you really just want something enjoyable without pushing it too far, and this fit the bill perfectly.

"Fun pretend play, but a little hit or miss"
The pretend play areas were cute and my kid definitely liked having different hands-on things to try. Some parts did feel a bit worn down though, and a few stations didn’t really hold their attention for very long. When I asked about it, support basically said something like they’re always working on updates and appreciate the feedback, which was nice enough. Overall, we still had an okay time, just wasn’t quite as smooth or exciting as I was hoping

"The food options were limited…"
The food options were limited and felt a bit expensive for what you get. I grabbed some snacks because I didn’t want to risk going hungry, and they were fine in a pinch, but I definitely would’ve felt better if there were more fresh options available...

"Pretty reassuring for parents"
As a parent, I’d say this made things feel a lot easier. It’s the kind of experience where you can probably relax a bit and not feel like you have to worry the whole time.

"My kid had such a fun time"
Took my little one to Pretend City she had the best time. She was so into pretending to be a cashier, a doctor, and “driving” around. I know some people might say it gets busy, and yeah, it was a little crowded when we went, but that didn’t ruin it for us at all. The play areas actually kept her engaged instead of just having kids run around aimlessly, which I really appreciated. Definitely still super fun and worth it...
